5 Restaurants Near Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch
I recently stayed at a week-long getaway at the Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch. We soaked up the beauty, enjoyed cooking at home in the kitchen, and went around the lazy river approximately 8,000 times. But while we were there we also wanted to get out and explore San Antonio a bit! While the Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch Residence Club isn’t close to downtown San Antonio (that’s the beauty of it - it’s in the stillness and quiet of the western edge of SA!), it is actually near a few fun places to eat. Here are 5 fun restaurants near Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch Residence Club.
5 Restaurants Near Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch
1. ST Donuts
Let’s start with breakfast, shall we? ST Donuts is a counter-service donut shop, but they also offer sit-down options for customers who want to enjoy their food and drinks in-house. The interior design of ST Donuts is your typical mom-and-pop-shop donut store, meaning kind of no-frills and rustic, with wooden tables and chairs. It’s a cozy little spot that’s perfect for those looking to start their day with a cup of coffee and some fresh donuts.
Going to their menu, you can choose from a wide variety of donuts, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and coffee drinks. They also offer gluten-free and vegan options in case you have dietary restrictions.
ST Donuts is a neighborhood favorite and is consistently highly rated on various review platforms like Yelp and Google. Coming from someone who literally just ate at this San Antonio donut shop recently, this cute little donut shop has friendly service and high quality donuts…basically the only two things you need to have to be a good donut shop option. 😉
Be sure to try those glazed blueberry cake cake donuts, a 1/2 dozen of the delicious mini kolaches, and the toasted sandwiches made with jalapeno bread sausage, egg, and cheese.

2. Jerk Shack
The Jerk Shack in San Antonio offers a unique and flavorful dining experience that is 100% going to satisfy your taste buds. The restaurant specializes in Caribbean-style cuisine, featuring the famous Jamaican jerk dishes served with rice and beans, plantains, and other flavorful side options. We love their jerk sandwiches and mac and cheese as a side dish. Whether you prefer sit-down service (inside and on the patio) or quick takeout meals, the Jerk Shack has something for you.
The interior of the restaurant is very cute and Instagramable, with colorful murals and paintings depicting scenes from Jamaica. There’s also a mini bar that you could sit at in front of a large open window that adds more natural light inside the restaurant.
The Jerk Shack is a beloved restaurant in San Antonio (even though it’s located on the outskirts of town…lucky for us it's a convenient restaurant near the Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch!).
